You may download stories and pictures on to your own hard disk or print them out provided that you include any copyright notices contained, that you make no alterations or additions to them or any part of them and that you do not use, reproduce, translate, adapt or distribute the material in or to any other work, publication or website; and

2. That all such use in (1) above is for private and non-commercial purposes.

No part of the website may be distributed, used, adapted, reproduced, translated or copied for any commercial purpose whatsoever without prior written permission for Urbanscot Online.

We do our best to ensure that information on the site is correct but in no circumstance do we accept any liability whatsoever for error or omission.

Urbanscot Online and/or the suppliers of information to or material on the site shall be responsible for or liable for any loss of damage to your or any third party, whether direct, indirect, incidental or consequential, howsoever arising from use of the website.

These terms and conditions and your use of this site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland.

Urbanscot Online competition

• No purchase necessary. Please enter your full name and e-mail address. Only one entry per e-mail address allowed. To be eligible, entries must be received on or before the set contest closing date - see contest page-  11.59pm BST.
• All entries shall become the property of Urbanscot Ltd, and their directors, officers, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies are not responsible for contacting or forwarding prizes to entrants who provide unclear or incomplete information or for entries lost, misdirected, delayed or destroyed.
• A random draw will take place.
• The prize-winner will be notified by email within 4 (four) days of the draw.
• If a selected entrant cannot be reached, or if a selected entrant does not meet all of the contract conditions, another entrant will be selected from the remaining eligible entries.
• This contest is not open to those who are employees of Urbanscot Ltd.
• By entering the contest, entrants (or parents/legal guardians of entrants if under the age of majority), consent to the use of their names, city of residence, e-mail address for publicity purposes in all media carried out by Urbanscot Ltd, without payment or compensation. The decisions of the contest judges are final. The prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash. No telephone contact or correspondence will be entered into except with the winning entrants.
• The right is reserved to terminate or withdraw this contest at any time.
• All entries become the property of Urbanscot Ltd, who assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Urbanscot Ltd on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion.
• Urbanscot Ltd reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the e-mail portion of this contest should a virus or bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Urbanscot Ltd corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Urbanscot Ltd reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way.
• Entrants agree to abide by the Contest Rules and the decisions of the independent judging panel, which are final.
• Your name and email address will not be passed on to any third party. It will be used to contact you occasionally about Urbanscot news, events, artists and new Urbanscot services.
• You can unsubscribe at any time.
